Vegan Chia Seeds Energy Bars

  • 350g Medjool dates
  • 2 scoops chocolate or vanilla protein powder. We use Velife Protein Superblend.
  • 60g walnuts
  • 60g cashew nuts
  • 75g chia seeds
  • 75g hemp seeds
  • 50g oats
  • 50g dessicated coconut
  • 30g cacao powder
  • 50g crushed salted caramel vegan chocolate


  1. Add dates, walnuts and cashew nuts into a food processor or large blender and mix until you get a sticky paste.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until well combined. Add small amounts of warm water if too dry.
  3. Line a rectangle or square baking dish with baking paper.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the dish and press firmly.
  5. Refrigerate for a least 1 hour before cutting into 12 equal portions.
